I haven't had many problems with American Freight. Ive purchased 3 recliners, 1 bed, and a couch from them. All great furniture except the first recliner didn't function properly and there was no problems taking it back and exchanging it. This is the Fort Shawnee location. I won't go anywhere else but American Freight. My dad bought a $3,000 motion bed from another place and after 5 years it started tearing apart. I bought a pillow top $500 mattress from American Freight like 8 years ago and it's still as comfy and tear free as the day I bought it. My couch from them is like 15 years old and still in good shape. Sooo‍

They had their BLOW OUT EVENT we were able to pick up three accent chairs for $1000. They even had some for only $99 to bad they were black and did't match our furniture. The staff was amazing and so helpful.

Had no issue with there products but if you get your appliances delivered dont!don't!. Theyus use the worst delivery severices around. Bought a refrigerator and paid for installation but had to do it myself and 2 days later got a gas stove delivered and paid for installation and removal of the old one but they couldn't hook it up because they didn't have they right stuff to hook it up but I bought all the stuff they offered to hook it up and they just left the new stove on my front porch and left so once again I had to do all the work myself and the delivery-installation company had the worst customer service I have ever dealt with they are worthless! So if you buy from them I hope you can install whatever you buy by yourself because their installation company can't!

My Mr and I had a great experience at American Freight Furniture.
We were looking for a sectional (couch) that would fit our budget. My friend at work mentioned this place and brought me a flyer. I was impressed with what they had to offer that. My Mr and I talked about it and decided to give them a try. The minute we walked in was stressed free with no pressure. We were greeted and the gentleman showed us around the warehouse. If we had any questions, feel free to ask. Of course we had tons of questions and he was very patient answering them. We were able to look around at our own pace. We found two pieces that were interested in and kept going back and forth on. Finally we decided on a two piece sectional for only $499.00. Great quality and love the style and color.
It was so easy! I applied for the interest free 100 day credit online in store and was approved right away.
They do same day delivery for a small fee of $75.00. We wanted to get rid of our old couch so they were nice enough to disposed it for $50.00. The men delivering our couch was very professional and assembled it for us. They were in and out by less than 25 minutes. Greatly appreciated.
They sell everything from mattresses, dining bedroom sets and more.
Overall we are happy and as I am speaking... I am lounging on our new couch, enjoying it. We will definitely be back to get a dining set! Thanks for everything!

I'm usually not one to speak highly of a furniture store, but after my experience at American Freight, I can say that's about to change. The overall experience was great, very low pressure, and is a reason I'll likely be coming back for my next furniture purchase.
The place itself is pretty much a big warehouse, but everything is easy to find, and the employees are not pushy at all. My lady and I came in search of a new couch. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly employee who told us the lay of the land and said to see him if we had any questions. Afterwards, we walked around to check everything out. Everything was easy to find and the priced clearly marked on everything. After looking for a while, feeling no pressure from any employee, we found the perfect couch for us, a nice two-piece sectional chaise couch, priced very nicely at $499. We opted for financing, paying only $50 up front, and will be paying it off easily every two weeks ($33 each payment, $0 interest). We even got same day delivery to our place for $75 and had our old couch disposed for $50. The delivery guys were even super friendly and assembled the couch after they delivered it.
Big selection, great prices, and a no pressure sales staff. Doesn't get too much better than that! I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone on the market for new furniture on a budget.

Stay away! I bought a refrigerator from them and didn't get cold enough, even turned up to it's highest setting. I gave it a few more days. Five days after purchase I contacted them and asked if I could return it. They said no, I have to call the manufacturer for a warranty repair. I tried to explain that I paid for a working refrigerator, not a defective one. They held firm on this "no returns, all sales final" policy. I don't know what to do at this point, I feel like they should have taken it back for selling a defective product. I suggest you go to a more honest, reputable dealer for your appliance needs.

Bad customer service, if I could rate this less than 1 star I would do it. I picked up my dining table today and when I got home some of the pieces were damaged. I called them and told them that some pieces were damaged, they put me on hold for more than 30 minutes and hung up on me. I called back and they said they would not replace the pieces. If you would prefer to spend thousands of dollars on your "supposed to be new" and damaged items then go ahead.
