I would like to thank Majeed at the Loews on Kennedy road in Brampton for helping me. This is my favorite Lowe's location because I find the staff are all helpful. Majeed is always helpful and is knowledgeable especially in the plumbing department.

Lowe's being one of the best home improvement stores has a vast selection of home products Maybe more than their competitors in business
However the drawback here is they hardly have any people to help and the ones there may be very old in their job hence lack that drive
The store has a really huge selection of the most beautiful Christmas trees, electric fireplaces , snow blowers chandeliers lights, snow blowers and every single thing one could want for a home
But I somehow never end up buying from here as nobody to help you find things or understand the products I did find some in the lights section to help but the man was very angry that I wanted help was rude So we left from there and bought stuff from another place
Besides their awesome collection they also have some stuff on great discounts
Will probably pick up my fireplace from there this month
Great stuff Fabulous prices but if you think you could need help to find or understand a product
Forget it
I only go here when I know the product I want

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't shop here. They have DISGUSTING customer service, and the worst support team I've ever seen in my professional career. We paid over $40,000 to get a home improvement job done by them and they left holes in our wall, didn't seal the shower head properly causing leakage and damage to the condominium below, and we didn't even sign off on the work to be completed, they just never came back. Again, PLEASE DO NOT EVER GO TO LOWES TO SHOP OR HAVE HOME IMPROVEMENT DONE! Look it up, they have a bunch of lawsuits ongoing and are known for awful customer service. AWFUL

Even though a decent size, staffing is sparse. They do a duck and hide when they see customers. Anyways, good thing I'm handy and have a bit of common sense to get by without their assistance.
Some areas are not fully stocked, which can be a hassle depending on the quantity you require.
Just met a lady, super cool! She was looking flooring, just like me. She was more helpful than the staff.
At least the place is clean, and has free wifi!
Alright back to my home Reno shopping!

If I could give zero I would. I went into Lowes August 8th and ordered granite counters for my newly installed cabinets. I was told the whole process would take 2-3 weeks tops, and I would be called with a date of installation after my cabinets were measured and the granite picked out. It has been 3 weeks, and despite talking to the installation team over and over again - I still DO NOT HAVE COUNTERTOPS or a Kitchen SINK!
** made to pay upfront as well!**
I'm a mother with a young toddler and no functioning kitchen. I asked why I do not have countertops and was told "I'm not sure - but they will probably call you in about two weeks to let you know the date of install" absolutely unacceptable!
Stay far far away from Lowes!!!! Do not buy countertops from these people.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sara P.Oakville, ON3167286Dec 2, 2011
ARTIFICIAL CHRISTMAS TREES!!!!
Okay, do I have your attention? Great. I'll start by saying Lowe's is MUCH better than Home Depot! It's probably even better than Rona! (And definitely better than Canadian Tire.)
But the reason I'm reviewing Lowe's in particular is because I was just there shopping for artificial Christmas trees with my husband and in-laws. We went EVERYWHERE looking for high quality artificial tress, and I mean everywhere. The Bay, Sears, Canadian Tire, Home Depot, even Costco.
Nobody could touch Lowe's. The trees were beautiful, inexpensive (especially compared to the others) and there was such variety. We each brought home a different tree and we love them. They look so elegant standing there that neither my husband and I nor his folks have decorated them yet!
Lowe's is definitely good for a lot of things, but especially so (and worth the drive in to Brampton), for artificial pre-lit Christmas trees.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Bilal S.Mississauga, ON27811835495Jul 7, 2015
This is a decent giant store in Brampton and I believe they have one more in Brampton. I usually come here as there is Lowe's in Mississauga and this would be the closest location.
The location is very good as it usually has items on sale in stock ( if you come in a reasonable time) and you don't have to run around other stores. The till service is decent but could be a little more faster but they do have self checkout, which is very good.
The return item service is very good, quick and not tedious. Parking is not a problem as they have a huge parking lot. Plus I believe they have a Country Style coffee shop at the entrance as well and Starbucks in the same Plaza.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dave S.Brampton, ON05Nov 18, 2016
I really like this store. Very clean, well stocked and organized- every dept! Good signage to find products. They have good deals on sale weeks. Bought a couple of appliances here at same or cheaper price than other stores. Good paint-valspar. Helpful staff. Keep up the good work.
This place makes Home depot look like a 3rd world country.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dan T.Halton Hills, ON64918Aug 19, 2010First to Review
Lowe's is the new kid on the home-improvement block, and they did their research! I was extremely impressed with their stores, the knowledgeable staff, and best of all, their prices! The isles are clean and neat, product is unpacked, and placed with thought where customers are actually able to reach it, not wrapped up on the top shelf requiring a fork lift! Selection is as good, if not better than my local Home Depot.
They have a good clearance section with nice price markdowns. I found a spare battery for my old Makita drill for $25 when other stores would special order it for $80, crazy! I just wish it was closer so I could visit more often.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Lynda R.Brampton, ON43Dec 1, 2010
Way better than Home Depot, Rona, and the dreaded Canadian Tire in the same area. Neat and tidy store, well stocked, friendly and helpful staff.
