Select Rent-A-Car

Ross and Victor were two breaths of fresh air in terms of both customer service and over all friendly character. It's very rare I encounter people in the rental industry who don't resemble sloths.

I called and spoke with Victor. I wanted to know if they had a specific style of car available for a friend who was visiting from Japan, and to ask if their policies covered secondary and international drivers. They said yes and at no additional fee. He told me the car was available but there was only one left of that model. I unfortunately couldn't confirm details until the next day and I was worried I had missed my window. My husband called Select after he had confirmed travel arrangements but was told the car had been reserved. I did not ask Victor to hold the car for me so I was going to ask what else they had available.

So I called again and spoke with Ross. He said he'd check with Victor and call me back in twenty minutes. I was expecting to wait an hour.

Twenty minutes later, Ross calls back and said he spoke with Victor and the car was reserved under my name. No confirmation. No credit card. Nothing. I was speechless. I told Ross we wanted to book it and he said, "Okay, we'll see you then."

He didn't ask for a hold on a card but just asked that we give him a courtesy call if anything changed.

I couldn't believe it.

Unfortunately, I never got the chance to meet Ross or Victor since my husband and his friend went to pick up the car, but I was so happy with Select, its policies, and its prices.

BE AWARE that there are two Best Western Plus locations right next to each other and the drive-in/parking is not easy. Select is inside the northern office, Best Western Park Inn (pin 2), not the Best Western Anaheim Inn (pin 1). PLEASE SEE PIC.

My family and I had a great experience with this company. We tried using enterprise at lax and ended up getting stranded at the airport for 4 hours... We got an uber to Anaheim and got in touch with this company. Stacy was so helpful and kind. She seriously made it all worth it. Great price. Picked us up from the hotel and will come pick up the car when we finish. I highly recommend this company. The staff here are great, and nice cars too!

FANTASTIC!!!! The small team at Select are nothing short of brilliant. Best car hire experience I have had anywhere in the world and we travel and drive a lot so I have a lot of experience.

I booked a convertible with Hertz here in Anaheim and on the day I went to pick up the car they didn't have it. I rang Select immediately and not only did they help me out and have me on the road in 30 minutes they picked me up from the Hyatt hotel.

From compact Honda Civic's to Mustang convertibles - these guys have it all - modern and clean and well maintained.

Seriously, don't bother with anyone else, the team here are the best and they make the experience easy for you!

We will never use another company in Anaheim again now that we have found the Select team.

Great service! I called months in advance to inquire about their rental services. I was little skeptical because my boyfriend and I have never rented a car before. We planned to stay in Anaheim most of the trip. Going with Select-rent-a-car was the best decision we made. We rented a car for 2 days to drive around LA. On the day that we had to return the car, we wanted to eat breakfast. I called to see if I could extend our rental until after we got breakfast. They allowed us to return the car without a fee just as long as we returned it within 3hrs. Thanks for making our trip worthwhile. The car was definitely helpful and handy!

You can't compete with EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY SERVICE! I chose this company in regards to their positive reviews on Yelp and Im glad I did. Ross contacted me very quickly and set up my reservation, when I asked if they offered pick up service victor emailed back promptly stating that they would which was a great convenience to me.

On day of pick up I received a call stating they would come to pick me up at 10:30am, I came down at 10:29 and a nice gentleman named Joel was already waiting for me! He was so kind, opened the door for me and made me feel like we were already great friends on the way to their establishment. Joel was great and went through the paperwork with me throughly. Their desk is located on Harbor blvd across from disneyland which is perfect if your coming from out of town, they also provide motor scooters for those who need an extra boost at the park!

Do yourself a favor and do business with nice people, it will make your experience and vacation much more pleasant as they did that for me

Being that is was my first time ever renting a car and let alone somewhere out of my home state these guys where the best in customer service. Stacy and Ross really new how to take care of my wife and I especially because I requested on of their convertibles on our one year anniversary. All in all love these guys and if I ever come back they are the ones I'm giving my business to!

I came to Anaheim for work and decided to rent from Select. I had such a great experience, I rented from them again 2 weeks later when I was back for another work trip. Everyone who helped me with my rental was incredibly friendly & accommodating. I was promptly picked up and given a ride back to my hotel both times, the price was very reasonable, and they even let me keep the car an extra day no problem.
I was given a nice Honda Civic that was Bluetooth capable and had a backup camera, which I loved.

I will definitely be renting from them again whenever I return to Anaheim!

The two gentleman I worked with the day I rented a car were very professional, and just awesome to work with. I was a newbie in town, and only had one day to drive around, and explore, and they both gave me great advise and awesome places to check out.

I was picked up at my hotel, and they picked the car up the following day when I headed to the airport. It was a great experience, and I will most definitely be back and rent from them again!

I directly dealt with the Ross over email for my trip to California. He was understanding to all my questions as it was my first time renting a car. Once I arrived, I also dealt with Victor. I only had texting, and Victor gave me his number to text if I had any questions or concerns. The underage fee is only $10/day, as most places in the area were in the $25/day range. They pick you up directly from the hotel and are very accommodating with my own plans.

I rented a car from them twice in a week. First time was for 3 days. The Honda civic I rented still had the new car smell. The car drove great, and was great on gas. If I had one complaint, I was some what disappointed in a lack of Bluetooth. The second time was for my last day of my trip, and again the Honda accord I rented drove great and again, still had the new car smell.

They treat their customers well, as I felt very welcomed throughout my experience with them. They are conveniently located right in front of the Disneyland entrance. I would definitely deal with them again in the future.
