Ging Sing Restaurant

Nice clean restaurant. Ample seating. We came for a late dinner, 8pm, with a party of 7 adults, 2 young children. The place was near empty except us and two other small tables. There is parking on the side of the building.

Ordered 7 dishes which included the usual and popular general taos chicken, and sweet and sour pork. Pricing was reasonable however that being said, portions I found were smaller then other places. Rice is provided per individual bowl, and is also charged per bowl, $1.50 each if you really want to know. Overall the food was ok and quick to arrive. I found the sweet and sour pork crispy and sweeter then sour. Given their location, and portion sizes, I'm not sure how much they can compete with the many other restaurants along Somerset.

This place has changed hands many times. It started out as a Vietnamese restaurant and since then has been trying hard to survive serving Chinese food. I'm all for supporting smaller places but I would find it difficult to come back with all the other options nearby.
